  2. Marja:

This is great and I can relate. Once I realized forgiveness is more about allowing myself to stop being angry at the offender than letting the offender off the hook, forgiveness became easier to do. Living in anger hurts the angry person most, usually.

Thank you for this. Hope you are well...

    1. "Living in anger hurts the angry person most"... that is so true Janette. We must make the choice to go on with life, for our own sake.

  3. Forgiveness is a powerful and necessary part of the healing process. God first forgave us, the least we can do is extend the same gift to others.

    1. God did it first, let us never forget. He has set the example!

  4. Amen! Without forgiving others, we strangle ourselves and cut off the very thing we need from God. Love this!

  5. Forgiving others is not about them getting away with their offenses. It's about putting them in God's hands and allowing Him to deal with their heart.

    1. A lot of people think that forgiveness means they have to endorse the sin that was done against them... but like you said, it is not about letting people get away with their offenses. God will deal with them, but in the meantime we must move on with life.
      Thanks Susan, for your visit.
